(Parma) - A substitute teacher and five Parma Senior High School students are facing charges in an attack on a disabled student.

Parma police say the students knocked the 14-year-old victim to the ground during gym class last week, kicked him while he was down and then taunted him.

Substitute teacher Gregg Mellinger is accused of doing nothing to stop the attack.

He's charged with child endangering, while the students are charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
