The Indians ended the regular season on a 10-game winning streak, becoming only the sixth team since 1900, and the first since the 1971 Orioles, to end with at least 10 wins in a row. The Tribe also finished September with 21 wins for the first time since the 1948 season. With the four-game sweep of the Twins, the Indians also became the first team in the Major Leagues to complete seven series sweeps of at least four games since the Cardinals accomplished the feat in 1943.

With a final regular-season mark of 92-70, the Indians logged a 24-win improvement over last year’s team, tied for the largest jump in team history. The club also had a 24-win jump from 1985 to 1986.

The Cleveland Indians announced Sunday night that individual tickets for the 2013 American League Wild Card game at Progressive Field on Wednesday are sold out. But

Tickets remain for two potential ALDS games at Progressive Field. Fans can log on to Indians.com/Postseason for the most convenient, fastest way to purchase tickets for those games.
