Man burned after west side explosion and fire

(Cleveland) - Cleveland Police plan to charge a man with drug charges after a small explosion and fire Tuesday night led to the discovery of a a suspected indoor marijuana growing operation in a commercial building in the 10400 block of Joan Avenue on Cleveland's westside.  

The man was taken to the Metro-Health Medical Center for treatment of burns.  First District Cleveland Police detectives returned to the scene Wednesday morning where they removed suspected marijuana plants, grow lights and other tools for marijuana cultivation from the building.  

The man who is hospitalized will likely be charged in the next day or two.  His name has not been released since he is yet to be charged.
