(Lake County) - In Eastlake, the 12th Anniversary Never Forget 9/11 Ride and Ceremony was held Sunday at the Boulevard of Flags at 12 noon.

Motorcycle riders staged at Lake Erie Harley Davidson (Avon); Harley Davidson Sales Company of Cleveland; Western Reserve Harley Davidson (Mentor); South East Harley Davidson (Bedford Heights), Century Harley Davidson (Medina) and Carlton Harley Davidson (Mantua) at 9:00 AM and departed for the ceremony at 10:00 AM.

Conducting the remembrance service was longtime military and safety forces supporter John Kikol. The keynote speaker was retired New York City firefighter John Murphy.

After the ceremony there was a processional ride to Western Reserve Harley Davidson in Mentor Ohio for food and entertainment from 1:30 to 3:30 PM.

Participants Newsradio WTAM 1100 spoke with felt it was very important to attend the ceremony despite all the excitement about the start of the Browns season. Some were disappointed that the audience was not larger, fearing that some Americans are starting to become complacent about 9/11.
