Luke was born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina and has been a musician since he was a kid. He played football in high school while performing in a number of different bands. He attended Appalachian State University. Gosh, remember when ASU's football team beat Michigan 32-30 back in 2007? We won't but we bet fans of that school "up North" would like to. Anyhoo, check out Luke performing his latest smash hit, "One Number Away" last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
