Listen To Lil Nas X's 'Old Town Road' Remix With Young Thug & Mason Ramsey

Just when you thought "Old Town Road" fever was winding down, Lil Nas X decided to drop an "OTR" remix (that's actually pretty amazing) featuring Young Thug, and viral superstar, Mason Ramsey a.k.a. "The Walmart Yodeling Boy."

While the remix stays true to the original — you still can't tell Lil Nas X nothing — the new additions further add to the country-trap flair. First to lay down their verse was Thug, who rapped, "Maserati ridin', got a V12 for my bride (Skrrt)/Foggy rocky road, got a three-wheeler inside (Ayy)/ I wanna do is take a pill, catch a chill vibe/Real prince, I'm realer doin real dumb."

Billy Ray Cyrus' verse remains on the remix. However, little Mason hops right in at the end to deliver a few bars. "Hop up in my razor, got a thousand acres/Right up on the cows where they pray that it don't faze her/Ay-yo, Ay-yo yippee-o ki-yay/If you ain't got no giddie up then giddie out my way," he cutely spits.

The latest edition of the chart-topping track, which was released on Friday (July 12), has been months in the making. Lil Nas X teased the project back in April while praising Young Thug for being a pioneer of country-trap. "The song is country-trap. It’s not one, it’s not the other. It’s both. It should be on both [charts]," Nas X told Time following criticism of his genre-defying, breakout single. "I believe whenever you’re trying something new, it’s always going to get some kind of bad reception. For example, when rap started, or when rock and roll began. But with country trap, I in no way want to take credit for that. I believe Young Thug would be one of the biggest pioneers in that."

"Old Town Road" celebrated its 14th week atop the Billboard Hot 100 this week, putting it just three weeks away from breaking the record for the longest time a single has held the number one spot.
