A dog in Enid, Oklahoma, was recently rescued after surviving 44 hours trapped under rubble following an EF-4 tornado.
Pup has since been reunited with her owner, Kay Dragoun, who had taken shelter during the storm while Pup remained in the home.
After the tornado passed, neighbors and loved ones helped search through the debris for Dragoun’s missing dog.
Fears grew when Pup’s collar was found, but rescuers later discovered her alive, shaken but safe.
The reunion was a hopeful moment after the storm, with Dragoun expressing deep gratitude to those who helped. She says that Pup is on the road to recovery as they begin rebuilding.
