One teen's act of friendship and sportsmanship is inspiring everyone this week!
Ty Koehn and Jack Kocon have been friends their entire lives. They played Little League together, and now as teens they're still friends, despite going to different high schools and playing on different baseball teams.
Unfortunately, their two teams went head-to-head in the Minnesota state tournament. Ty was the pitcher for Mounds View High School, and in the big game he needed just one more strike to end the game and win the championship.
But it was Jack's turn at-bat; and as a senior, this was his final high school at-bat.
When Ty struck him out, rather than jumping around celebrating with his teammates he immediately headed to Jack, in an incredible show of friendship and sportsmanship.
When asked about the moment later, Ty said, "Our friendship is more important than just the silly outcome of a game."
