On May 6th at 05:26 BST The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle give birth to her first child with The Duke of Sussex Prince Harry. The birth of Queen Elizabeth II eighth great-grandchild.was announced by the Sussex Royal, Buckingham Palace, and Kensington Palace :
"We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.More details will be shared in the forthcoming days."
The newest royal is currently seventh in the line to the throne as state in by BBC "behind the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and his children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - and Prince Harry". But this little boy already has an edge over his older cousins with his dual US citizenship given automatically at birth since Meghan is an American. It looks like the newest royal was overdue as new dad Prince Harry says as he spoke to the press Monday. Prince Harry was also present for the birth of his first child "I haven't been at many births. This is definitely my first birth. It was amazing, absolutely incredible, and, as I said, I'm so incredibly proud of my wife...I haven't been at many births. This is definitely my first birth. There isn't name yet picked for the new royal but Prince Harry did say in two days he would be back to announce the name of his son.
