Country music had another big night Wednesday night at the 2019 CMT Music Awards. One person who won big was Carrie Underwood, who took home two awards from the 2019 CMT Music Awards. Underwood first won "Female Video of the Year" where she went up against some very talented women in country music like Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Calry Pearce, Brandi Carlile, Kacey Musgraves, and Kelsea Ballerini. After being one of only female performers nominated Underwood took the grant prize home for "Video of the Year" for her "Cry Pretty" video.
During the evening there were many performances and Carrie Underwood was one of them. Underwood performed "Southbound" outside at Nashville Centennial Park. At the Parthenon monument, Underwood put on a great performance for fans who were glowing the night up with colorful glow sticks.
