Garth Brooks shared a heartfelt tribute to his wife, iconic country star Trisha Yearwood, to celebrate her birthday on Thursday (September 19). The “She's in Love with the Boy” star is turning 60.

“Happy Birthday, Trisha!!! You look better than ever, you ARE better than ever and I love you MORE than ever…love, me,” Brooks, 62, wrote in his caption as he shared a photo of Yearwood on his own social media pages. He shared the same tribute in a “Husband TAKEOVER” on Yearwood’s accounts.

Brooks recently shared another post in Yearwood’s honor. It arrived as she received the Icon Award at the 17th ACM Honors, hosted at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The show was filmed last month and will air on September 24. Others honored that evening included Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson and more.

“Last night was iconic! 🥰 All I ever wanted to be was a part of the country music community,” Yearwood wrote in an Instagram caption on August 22. “I’m honored and grateful and so happy that I got to celebrate with my friends and family! Congrats to all of the honorees! 🩵”

The 17th ACM Honors, hosted by Carly Pearce and Jordan Davis, will air on Merit Street on Tuesday, September 24 at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT / 6 p.m. PT, per the Academy of Country Music.
