Watch Luke Combs Get An Epic Surprise On Stage

Luke Combs received an unforgettable surprise while he was on stage over the weekend.

Combs will be inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame at the end of this month. He got the news on Saturday (October 12) while he performed at the Luke Combs Bootleggers Bonfire, a three-day music and beach festival in Miramar Beach, Florida, notes a press release issued Monday (October 14). A video of that moment was shared on the social media accounts for Category 10, Combs’ soon-to-open bar in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

“I just wanna thank my whole team, my wife, my kids, Kathy, everybody. Everybody that’s here, man. You know who you are. I don’t have to even say it. Thank you guys, man, so much,” Combs said.

“Luke’s stellar career, marked by chart-topping hits and a deep connection to his fans, has made him one of country music’s brightest stars and the perfect addition to this prestigious group of honorees,” Deana Ivey, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, said in a statement. “It was a special moment for Luke to hear about his induction into the Music City Walk of Fame alongside hundreds of his dedicated fans, and we hope many of them will travel to Nashville to celebrate with him in person at the ceremony.”

Combs will join previously-announced inductees: late “Margaritaville” legend Jimmy Buffett, gospel icons The Fairfield Food, Ryman Hospitality Properties’ Colin Reed and Grand Ole Opry host Bill Cody. They will receive the 105th, 106th, 107th, 108th and 109th stars on the Music City Walk of Fame. Members of the public are welcome to view the induction ceremony, per the press release. it will take place on Wednesday, October 30 at 1 p.m.
