The number of Ohioans dying from overdoses is continuing to decline.
That's according to the latest data released by the Ohio Department of Health, which says there was a nine-percent drop in overdose deaths in the state last year.
That marks the second year in a row that overdose deaths have declined in Ohio.
Governor DeWine credits an increase in the availability of naloxone, opioid treatment, and peer support as some of the biggest reasons why the overdose death rates dropped.
