Brittany Aldean shared a throwback photo from her wedding day as she marked a decade of marriage with reigning Academy of Country Music Artist of the Decade Jason Aldean.
Brittany’s Instagram post included photos of the couple on the red carpet at the CMT Music Awards, sweet moments with their kids, snapshots taken backstage at one of Aldean’s performances, and more. Brittany wrote in her anniversary tribute on Friday (March 21): “10 years ago today we were saying ‘I do’ in Mexico♥️ Not a day goes by that I’m not thankful for you and our love. Happy Anniversary [Jason Aldean]. You’re the best decision I ever made🙏🏼💍” Aldean wrote in a tribute of his own on Friday: “Happy 10 year anniversary [Brittany Aldean]. What a ride it’s been and look at us now! 10 years together 2 beautiful babies and a million memories. I love you so much and looking forward to the next 10. 🥂”
Aldean and his wife are first spotted together in 2012. They made their first red carpet appearance together in 2014, and got engaged that year. They got married in a stunning, intimate ceremony in Mexico on March 21, 2015. They’re since welcomed son Memphis in December 2017, and daughter Navy in February 2019. The kids join Keeley, 22, and Kendyl, 17, Adlean’s daughters from his previous marriage.
Aldean said in an interview with PEOPLE the month before his and Brittany’s wedding: “We’re living our life. We’re happy. We enjoy each other and we’re looking forward to getting married and moving on to the next stage of our lives together. My life is great. I’m really happy. We’re really happy.”
