Luke Combs shared a rendition of an unreleased ballad “in honor of Veterans Day” on Tuesday (November 11).

Combs wrote in his caption on Instagram on Monday evening (November 10) that “we wrote this [‘Ever Mine’] from the perspective of a soldier writing a letter to his wife during war without knowing if he’ll ever see her again. Love this one a lot.” Combs said as he shared the unreleased original in December of 2020 that he teamed up with Charlie Worsham and Hailey Whitters to write a few songs, “and this is one of my favorites we got.”

Most recently, Combs released The Prequel, a 3-track collection that sets the stage for his upcoming chapter of music (he’s “still working on my new album that’ll be out early next year,” he said). The North Carolina-born singer-songwriter released “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “15 Minutes” and “Days Like These” last month. He said at the time, “it’s crazy. I just feel like it’s the first time I put music out in quite some time, and I’m nervous about it. I’m nervous to see what you guys will think about it. I’m really confident in these songs that we’ve recorded and I know that you guys have been waiting for music for a long time. I’ve just been kind of doing as much as I can, raising the kids… It’s just wild. It’s just wild. Time flies, and it feels like I’ve been doing this forever and for six months at the same time, if that makes any sense.”

Combs, who recently announced with wife Nicole Combs that Baby No. 3 is on the way, is bringing his 16-show “My Kinda Saturday Night Tour” to eight countries spanning two continents in 2026. The tour will include a star-studded list of special guests on select dates: Dierks BentleyThe ScriptThe Teskey BrothersThomas RhettTy MyersJake WorthingtonThelma & James and The Castellows.
