It’s no secret that Miranda Lambert loves animals. In fact, she has her own MuttNation Foundation, which helps promote the adoption of shelter pets.
The foundation has given a lot of money to shelters across the country, and recently, Miranda helped one in Plymouth County, Massachusetts.
The Scituate Animal Shelter was recently given a donation of a few thousand dollars from Miranda’s organization, which will allow them to waive adoption fees, which could run from $100 to $250, through July 19th. The donation came with a personally signed certificate from Miranda herself.
The money came at a particularly important time for the shelter. Executive director Maryann Regan says shelters are the most packed in summer, and adoptions are usually pretty low during the summer months.
