A North Carolina man decided to get creative in dealing with a bear that kept coming into his backyard.
The Asheville man donned a mascot-like bear costume and approached the black bear while trying to growl.
The real bear did get spooked and take off, but not before staring the man down.
While it worked this time, bears are typically erratic when challenged.
