A woman is suing SeaWorld Orlando for at least $50,000 after a duck flew into her face while riding the Mako roller coaster.
The March 24th incident left her unconscious.
The lawsuit claims SeaWorld was negligent for not keeping the park safe and not warning riders about dangerous conditions.
It says SeaWorld created a danger zone for bird strikes because the roller coaster goes at high speeds, sits over or near water where ducks and other waterfowl hang out, and is designed in a way that could confuse birds and cause collisions.
The woman says she suffered permanent injuries, pain, and mental suffering, and lost her ability to enjoy a normal life.
Morgan and Morgan law firm is representing her and wants a jury trial.
SeaWorld never reported the incident to Florida's Department of Agriculture, which requires theme parks to report injuries on rides.
There's no word on whether the duck’s family plans a lawsuit.
